Positive Behavior Support Team Lead

Last year, I worked with staff and students to implement a Positive Behavior Support program. The key to my approach was empowering students to create the acronym and define the aspects of the expectations before teacher approval and school adoption. This helped with student buy-in and made the expectations meaningful and authentic. I then formed a student group to design posters, handouts, and even t-shirts. Last, I worked with administration to realign our positive referrals to reflect the R.O.A.R acronym and positive behavior support approach.

Science Fair Coordinator

This year, I served as the Science Fair Coordinator at Peak to Peak Charter School. This role entailed organizing parent volunteers, running a judge orientation, creating a organizational system for 270+ projects, mentoring a teacher new the the science fair process, and facilitating the registration process for 20 students to attend the Cordon Pharma Regional Science Fair.
